The Process
How It Works
Becoming a client is deliberate and unhurried — four clear steps, no pressure at any of them.
A conversation
A phone call or meeting to understand your situation, your goals, and what you want from an advisor. You'll get straight answers about whether we're a good fit — including when we're not.
A written proposal
A specific recommendation for your portfolio — allocation, holdings, and rationale — plus a financial plan outline and exact fee. You'll know precisely what you're getting before committing to anything.
Seamless onboarding
Accounts are opened or transferred at Charles Schwab with our guidance handling the paperwork. Existing positions are reviewed for tax consequences before anything is sold.
Ongoing management
Your portfolio is monitored and managed continuously, with regular reviews and direct access to Jason whenever questions come up.
Custody & Safety of Assets
Your assets never touch our hands
Resonance Financial never takes custody of client funds. Assets are held in your name at Charles Schwab, one of the largest custodians in the world.
Held at Charles Schwab
Accounts are opened in your name at Schwab. You can see every holding and transaction directly through Schwab at any time, independent of us.
Limited authority
Resonance Financial has authority only to manage investments and deduct the agreed advisory fee — never to withdraw or transfer your funds elsewhere.
Independent verification
Schwab sends statements and trade confirmations directly to you, so the record you receive never depends on your advisor.
