As a senior portfolio manager for TIAA Trust Company, Jason personally managed over $400 million in assets for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families, foundations, profit sharing plans, and executive compensation plans.
Jason is a magna cum laude graduate of Texas State University with a degree in finance and a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder. Before finance, he worked as an associate product engineer in the advanced vehicle systems division of Motorola Semiconductor — a technical background that still shapes his analytical, research-first approach to markets. That hands-on experience inside the semiconductor industry gives him a working understanding of how technology is actually built, tested, and brought to market — a practical edge when evaluating technology companies as investments, separating real innovation from a good story.
He has been married for 28 years to his wife, Kim. He enjoys spending time with his three children, playing golf, and boating on Lake Travis.
